Earthworms are not fresh. Use these two methods to treat them
Earthworms are used for fishing in many ways, such as hooking methods, how to dig earthworms, how to quickly hook earthworms, and so on. How to make earthworms better at attracting fish is relatively rare.
Earthworms are molluscs with abundant tissue fluid, but they have one disadvantage. If they are not fresh, their taste patterns tend to become rancid, and their activity also decreases significantly. The effect of attracting fish is naturally very unsatisfactory.
This is not obvious, but many fishing friends are easily caught, because after buying it back, they find that the lure effect is very poor, and then they think that earthworms have no mouths, and using other bait is not enough. To solve this problem, we can solve it in two ways.
Method 1: Feeding banana peel
As long as the earthworm is alive, we can feed some banana peels, cut them into nail caps, and then place three or five banana peels in the box containing the earthworm.
After waiting for about two days, we will take out the earthworms and use them. We will find that the earthworms become fresh and more colorful. After being hooked, their activity is also very good.
Banana peel is preferably the type that can turn black. If there is no banana peel, discolored, or decayed fruits and vegetables, they can also be used to feed earthworms. Although it is somewhat troublesome, it can greatly increase the activity of earthworms, and it is not impossible to double the effect of attracting fish.
Method 2: Earthworm Dipping in Powder
"When fish enter the nest, earthworms are the favorite of fish. However, if you hang earthworms alone, their ability to gather fish can only be considered average, which is somewhat better than the effects of wheat and corn.".
To change this, you can use the trick of dipping an earthworm in powder. The earthworm secretes a mucus that has a certain sticky effect. The earthworm can either dip in powder bait or dip in water after dipping in powder and use it with rice wine.
Dipping in powder directly allows you to hook the earthworm, wrap it with a powder bait, and then throw the bait into the water. After the powder on the earthworm enters the water, it will dissolve, easily attracting nearby fish to enter the nest.
These powders can be used as flavored bait, as well as stir-fried soybean powder, sesame powder, or peanut powder. However, it is important not to use fishy flavored bait, which can easily cover the flavor pattern of earthworms in this province.
Another method is to wrap the earthworms with sticky powder, then dip them in water, and then wrap them with a layer of rice wine, so that the earthworms can be wrapped with a layer of rice wine.
Due to the sticky powder, the rice won't be thrown away, and after the bait enters the water, the stickiness of the sticky powder will gradually disappear, and the rice will slowly fall off from the earthworms. In this state, the effect of attracting fish is very ideal.
The above two methods can effectively increase the effect of earthworms in attracting fish. Of course, it does not mean that only these two methods are useful. For example, clove oil mixed with earthworms, honey and Baijiu mixed with earthworms have very good effects.
When we use earthworms for fishing, when the fish mouth effect is not good, it is not easy to assume that it must be a problem with the fish. There is still a possibility that the earthworms themselves may have problems.
