This kind of food is the favorite of big carp

This kind of food is the favorite of big carp

What to use to make a nest for fishing and what to use for fishing mainly focus on two points:
The first is what kind of fish you catch and how big it is. There are some differences in the feeding habits of different species and sizes of fish. If you want to catch more fish, you must cast the best fish.
The second point is to see what plants, wild fruits, or the main local food crops are near the fishing spot.
For example, when fishing for grass carp, if there are many reeds near the fishing site, it is best to use reeds to make a nest.
If there is no vegetation around the fishing site, but the local area is rich in corn, then the corn used for carp, grass carp, and fish fishing is definitely not bad.
With this understanding, we can move on to today's main topic, namely, what should be used to make a nest for large individual carp in wild fishing. Let me start by saying the answer, so as not to disappoint you later, I recommend sweet potatoes (actually, I have written this article several times).
Three Best Nest Materials for Carp Fishing
Fishing for carp is very important. If you don't use the right nest method or material, you won't be able to lure the carp. Even if you try to trick it into coming over, you will leave immediately. If the carp doesn't get into the nest and stay in the nest for a while, don't mention fishing!
There are many nesting materials for carp fishing, and I have written several articles. Personally, the three best bait types are corn, sweet potatoes, and peanut cakes (rapeseed cakes are also good).
"No more corn, everyone understands. I believe that all fishing friends across the country should know that peanut cakes or rapeseed cakes are also considered food. The biggest advantage of this type of" cake "is that it is resistant to bubbles and does not have to worry about the target fish being eaten by miscellaneous fish before they enter the nest.".
As for sweet potatoes, I don't know why carp like to eat, just as I don't know why they like to eat corn. Anyway, the older generation of people used sweet potatoes to fish for carp, and I have been using them since I was young. The results have always been very good. Moreover, many commercial baits, nesting materials, and even small medicines used for carp fishing are sweet potato flavored, which fully demonstrates its effectiveness.
Which of the three types of food to choose depends on the situation. For example, if a fishing friend reports that he has never caught a carp with corn, you can try replacing it with sweet potatoes. Of course, rapeseed cakes and peanut cakes can also be used.
"One way to change without eating is to switch to another, and to continue changing without eating is the dumbest and most effective way.".
Methods of nesting and fishing with sweet potatoes
The method of dimming is very simple. You can buy some sweet potatoes back (there is no need to choose a variety or look good), and then cook them until they are medium cooked and throw them directly to the pastry.
Why cook it medium rare instead of well done? "Because if cooked thoroughly, it can easily be consumed quickly by small miscellaneous fish, and it cannot achieve the function of attracting target fish.".
Medium cooked is the best condition, including as a fishing lure. Unless you are fishing for a short time or playing overnight, cook well.
After cooking the sweet potato, you can directly nest it. Generally, there is no need to shred it, let alone add insult to injury by peeling it. The skin on the outside of the sweet potato can also play a certain role in preventing miscellaneous fish.
Under normal circumstances, if you want to achieve good results and catch more fish, it is recommended to nest in one location for several consecutive days, at least for more than three days (the longer the time, the better), so as to attract large and more fish.
The amount of nesting is determined by the density of the carp, which has no standard. For example, if you can hit four or five at a time, you can also hit seven or eight at a time.
"Some people don't have the patience, or they are worried that the fishing spot is occupied, or there are electricians and fishermen. If fishing for a short time, you can boil the sweet potatoes and cut them into pieces.".
There is also a situation where you need to cut into pieces, which is a terrain where the bottom of the fishing spot is a slope, and the deeper you go forward, the more you nest, the more sweet potatoes will roll forward, and the fish will lure you to the front.
In fact, this steep slope is not a good location for carp fishing. For carp fishing, try to find fishing spots such as the second ridge, the rubble mound, and the bay.
What kind of hook should I use to make a nest of sweet potatoes
"Fishing bait can also be made with sweet potatoes, which are also cooked in small portions. After cooking, remove the skin and cut into pieces, and hook them directly.". Don't worry about the bait in the nest. If you're nesting with a whole sweet potato, the carp will definitely eat the small ones when they see the two small ones on the hook.
"Even if you cut the sweet potato into small pieces, you don't have to worry too much. Just be patient and keep it. If it doesn't work, you can throw the bait on the edge of the nest a bit. When carp enter the nest, they always start eating from the bait on the edge of the nest.".
Another method, as mentioned in the previous article, is to boil the sweet potatoes thoroughly, then peel and mash them, and then mix them with some commercial baits.
Try not to choose commercial baits that have a too large taste. You can use slightly lighter flavored baits such as Field 918, Wild Fishing No. 7, Super lure, and Large Plate Crucian Carp, or use some potato flavored baits, or granular baits such as chicken and duck feed.
If you are fishing for smaller individuals or releasing carp, commercial bait (with a stronger taste) may work better; However, it is more reliable to fish for large carp or grain bait, especially for wild carp with large individuals. It is usually difficult to enter the nest, and entering the nest is just bubbling and not eating. Try to avoid using commercial bait with strong taste when dealing with this type of fish.
Sweet potato nesting, sweet potato fishing, all come from big guys, and often someone cuts and explodes the rod
The wild river carp on our side are not easy to catch. As long as they are wild and large, they are all shrewd thieves. Sometimes when you use small hooks and thin lines to bait small fish, they may occasionally take a bite, but when you replace them with thick hooks and large lines, they often do not come to eat.
Every summer, some people guard carp with a rock pole, using old jars of corn for nesting and hanging corn for fishing. However, the probability of catching carp is particularly low, and it may be difficult to catch a carp without releasing it.
To say that the highest success rate and the most reliable method is still the method I mentioned: boil a pot of sweet potatoes and make a nest, select a good location and continue playing for three to five days. Do not fish on the day of fishing. Try to choose to fish at dawn in the morning or after seven or eight o'clock in the evening.
Using this nesting method and these two excellent time periods, the probability of loading a large quantity of goods is the highest, but the probability of tangent line exploding is also high. Don't underestimate the strength of wild big carp. Some people use 5+4, 7+5 thread sets, and even if they don't settle for it, they will cut it every second (mainly tug of war), or the thread sets will continue to explode!
Add: Use sweet potatoes to make a nest for sweet potato fishing, and try to catch as dull as possible. You can use a short sub line to run lead. Use a larger float to expose the water for four or five eyes. When there is a signal, don't rush to lift the rod. Wait until the black hole is completely pulled for three seconds before lifting the rod, focusing on the dead end.
Finally, I would like to add the disadvantages of nesting sweet potatoes for fishing
First of all, the more targeted fishing methods and bait, which means that the broad-spectrum is poor, that is to say, to go to extremes, either you can catch carp very well, or carp can't catch other fish, as well as commercial bait, even if carp don't eat, other fish can also catch a few.
The second disadvantage is that it requires patience. Carps themselves have ink stains, while wild carp have more ink stains. Sweet potatoes do not have atomization and have a light taste. It may take a long time to develop a nest, and it is normal to not develop a nest.
Therefore, it is generally recommended to lay the nest material for several days continuously, which can shorten the waiting time. Then, this method is recommended to catch wild carp that are large in size and usually do not like to bite.
