Hand pole wild fishing is mainly used to catch small fish such as crucian carp, and also catch big fish below 3kg. If the weight exceeds this, there is no discussion about breaking the line. If the fishing line (including the sub line) is thick, solid and continuous, it may be the fishing rod that breaks. The competition pole is generally not easy to break, because it is a targeted pole. The fishing object fish uses a crucian carp pole, and the fishing mixed culture uses a carp pole, a fighting pole, or a very hard pole of several hours. No matter how big the fish is, it is just the main line cutting. However, it is not predictable how big fish you will encounter when fishing in wild waters, so it is common for medium and large fish to break the line and run away after fishing, which is an inevitable regret for leisure fishing. However, when fishing for a large object weighing several thousand grams, the line is not broken on a sub line that is nearly twice as small as the main line, not at the 8-shaped ring, nor at the connection between the soft whip tip of the pole tip and the main line, but between the upper and lower four space beans of the fixed floating seat. It is confusing that not only the line is broken to run fish, but also the floating is caught.
Under normal circumstances, most of the fish that break the line after the medium and large fish are at the sub line that is about 0.7 times smaller than the main line (such as the main line 1.5, sub line 0.8-1). The reason is very simple: different wire diameters can bear different tension values. The thicker the wire diameter is, the greater the tension value is, and the stronger it is; On the contrary, the thinner the wire diameter is, the smaller the tension value is, and the easier it is to break. From this reasoning, the first thing to break should be the sub line. If it is the main line, not the sub line, there are only two possibilities: 1. The main line is used for too long and seriously aged; 2. The wire body is damaged and deformed, and the tension value decreases. To say the least, even if the main line is broken, it should be broken at the 8-shaped ring or soft whip tip. Because these two places are tied, and the tensile strength of the knot is reduced. But the fact is that the money was cut at the space bean that locked the floating seat tightly, but the rest was safe. How to explain?
This is because both the splayed ring and the soft whip are at the starting point of the two reaction forces of the rod tip and the sub line. When the two reaction forces are working (forming a tug of war opposite pull), the force is transmitted downward. In addition, the start of the force relief ring adjacent to the splayed ring and the bending of the rod tip will form a certain buffer (force relief) at the knot at the two ends, so it will not pose a great threat to the main line. The author once tied a knot at both ends of a 30 cm long No. 2 fishing line, and then tied a knot in the middle of the line. Then he worked hard, and the line broke from the middle knot. The knots at both ends were harmless. He did three experiments in succession, and the results were the same. The four space beans locking the floating seat tightly (the smaller the space beans, the tighter the line) are like a big knot, forming a block to the force transmission.
When the two reaction forces do work, the two forces are transmitted to the four space beans, and the transmission of the force is blocked, so the pull point of the two reaction forces is concentrated at the space beans. With the continuous work of the two forces, the tensile deformation of the wire sandwiched between the space beans is aggravated, and its tensile strength is steeply reduced to less than that of the 8-ring, soft whip tip and sub wire, and the wire is broken from the fixed floating seat.
